Robert L. Stahl
President & CEO, Stahl & Associates Insurance, Inc.
Robert (Bob) is the President and CEO of Stahl & Associates Insurance. He founded the agency in 1983, and has served as president ever since. Stahl & Associates Insurance specializes in commercial insurance, risk management, employee benefits and private risk management.
Under Bob’s leadership, Stahl & Associates Insurance has grown into the largest, privately held insurance agency in Florida. The agency has over 140 associates and four offices in the state. Their client base is national, and they work with businesses throughout the country in a variety of industries. The agency continues to grow both organically, and through acquisition, while maintaining its independence. Stahl & Associates is consistently honored as a Top Workplace, and is featured each year as one of the top ten Commercial Insurance and Employee Benefits Consulting Firms.
Prior to founding Stahl, Bob served as a claims adjuster and worked in marketing for Royal Insurance Company. He is a graduate of Florida State University.
Bob works with many non-profits as a board member and as a community fundraiser. He is largely involved with Family Reach, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, Suncoast Hospice/Empath Health, and Directions for Living. He has also served, and continues to participate, on the advisory councils of various insurance companies. Bob currently serves on the Risk Management Board of the Florida State University College of Business. He regularly speaks at industry and association events on the state of the insurance industry and entrepreneurialism.
Bob resides in St. Pete Beach, Florida with his wife, Kathy. He has two children, Brittany and Robby. He is an avid skier and enjoys fishing, boating, and hunting.
